Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving!!! We are with our family for the weekend. Well, half of them. It is our year with David's family during Thanksgiving and my family during Christmas. We are having a great time! Brandon, our nephew made a holiday craft today. He made us each a leaf with our names written in glitter and we had to write on it what we are thankful for. Then we exchanged leaves and read each other's thanks. We have a lot to be thankful for! I am thankful for my family and friends. I am thankful for everyone's support of us through our adoption. I am thankful for my safety and peace. David says he is thankful for football and food. That has been the theme for the day. I will add a picture to this entry as soon as I find the cord that connects our new camera to the computer. My other nephew, Ethan, had his first real food today, baby squash! My sister said that he didn't seem impressed.
Thank you for all of your comments on this blog. There are more comments than my entries, so I am going to have to do better. Truth is, there is little update on the adoption. We have the rest of our paperwork in order to be done as soon as we get the referral. We also registered for "stuff" at Target and picked out a theme for the baby room. I am going to try to get it painted before Christmas. This way, when we get a call, we won't have to worry about that. Keep sending messages my way!!! Love, Angie
